Orgeat Syrup
- 2 Cups (10 oz) Raw Almonds
- 2 Cups Water
- 2 Cups Sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon Orange Flower Water
- 1 oz Vodka
- Break up almonds: Crushed
.
- Add almonds to a bowl add water. Refrigerate for 8 hours, covered.
- Strain almond liquid into a saucepan,using a nut milk bag or a fine weave cheesecloth
- Re-strain the liquid if any almond bits appear in the saucepan.
- Turn on stove over medium-high heat and whisk in sugar until dissolved into liquid.
- Remove from heat and cool to room temperature. Add in the orange flower water and vodka
